Music Film Festival in Vienna
Music film festival at City Hall Square takes place from June 30 to September 2, 2018. The Music Film festival takes place at City Hall Square and is one of the most popular places in Vienna during the summer. It is the biggest culture and food festival in Europe with 5,200 seats available. Last year the Music film festival visited 900,000 visitors.
This 28th Film Festival will start on June 30 with the opera from Giacomo Puccini “La Bohéme”. This opera will be conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. This is followed by other classical hits as Bernstein’s “Young People’s Concerts: Forever Beethoven” and “Beetoven’s “Sympfony Number 9” and its famous Ode to Joy. To the scene comes next Daniil Trifonov, the new pianist star.
